I am an artist.  Ok, but beyond that... For my day job I teach K-5th grade art and work privately with two amazing 6th grade students.  This is my twelfth year teaching the joy and energy of creativity.  For my night job I am the lead vocalist in a cover band called Tiny Lightning.  Check us out at www.myspace.com/tinylightningrocks.  For my whatever time is left job I am a new mom to 7 month old Izzy, a wifey to hubby Brett, and when I can manage some time an artist just for me.  My love is painting but it is hard to find the time so I do a lot of small colored pencil pieces because I can work on them at school.  I'm looking forward to summer vacation this year so I can get some of the 30 or so "in progress" paintings finished.  I've just started throwing myself out there into the art world, and so far so good.  I recently exhibited in the erotic art show "The Dirty Show 8" and have two pieces in an upcoming exhibit called CPopportunity at the CPop Gallery in Detroit.  Well, that's me.  I'd love to hear anyones thoughts on my work.  Rock on!
